I have been in this quarter since 2009 and I fell in love with this part of Dresden because of its individual and unique charme. The appealing and historical alleys, in conjunction with the charming small stores, manufactures and galleries as well as the kind people will give you a daily feeling of a holiday.
The garden of the Japanese Palais is not only a great place to have a picnic but transformes into a inspiring and creative open space (http://www.palaissommer.de). No matter if ball gown, tailor-made suit, baby shoes or club outfit – you will be warmly guided to your desired address in the Baroque Quarter. My atelier specialized on tailor-made dresses, true to the motto “Elegance is not about beeing noticed, it's about beeing remembered” (Giorgio Armani)

“In 1995 we opended our shoe shop in the stunning Baroque Quarter and belonged to the first dealers on the not renovated Königsstraße. Because of the compartmentalized building structure we expected more owner-operated stores to follow. Starting with eleven colleagues related to fashion design – all of them young, courageous and with lots of engagement – we enlived the street with activism and passion. Up to today we inform each other about collections and fashion trends that we want to follow. I am not only concerned about fashion, in fact it is a contemporary spirit that determines our collections of shoes and bags. It is the passion for design that drives me to buy the new favourite shoes of our customers from all around the world. The current collections are always completely to be found on our website and it is my own small pleasurer to shortly and humorously characterise every shoe.
